The Church of Christ at Bayview District is going through growing pains as is all other existing or aging Congregations. By the grace of God we have been in the soul saving business of the Lord since 1958, established out of the home of the late Paul and still living Louise Johnson on Evans in the Bayview area. Today we seek to teach, share our faith and build lasting relationships with families as we move forward in the 21st. Century.
My blog and aim is to keep the Congregation energized and grounded in our belief that Jesus Christ is our saviour, the joy and peace of our lives is knowing that living a Christ centered life help the community we serve, and make better our family structure, that we may change the world with the Gospel.
Notice this verse: Acts 16: 4 ” And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily. “ Church membership require all of us to get involved by helping another Soul to come to the knowledge of truth, by the Gospel of Christ. Each opportunity must be cherished and nourished as each believer strive to teach, share and motivate others to study and live as a child of God.
Today will require creative approaches to meet the needs of people, so the use of Social medias Facebook, Internet, cell text ministries as well as word of mouth, will be the focus for us to meet more Souls were they are! Do not forget to “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness,humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Colossians 3:12
